After completing Beauty School, I attended Vidal Sassoon School of Design on Rush Street in Chicago, Illinois. After that, I owned 2 successful salons in Lombard and Elmhurst, Illinois.

I was a paying member of the Barbers Union of Illinois for 5 years and worked as a barber in Oakbrook, Illinois. My family and I moved to California in 1982 and I worked in Orange County until 2003. I am now with Palms Salon, Palm Desert. As a professional, my goal is to continue my excellent service until my career ends.

Stan Nadel, originally from Brooklyn, New York, settled in California after serving with the United States Navy. He is married and together with his wife have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Barbering came naturally to his as 3 prior generations had the same occupation. Stan enjoys his work and has become close friends with many of his clients. He has been in the business for 51 years! Stan attended the American School of Barbering in Los Angeles. He started working in West Los Angeles and later moved his business to Woodland Hills, California. It is now operated by his son. He also taught students to style and maintain men's hairpieces.

Upon retirement 2 years ago, Stan found he really missed what he does best. He is now at Palms Salon 3 days a week enjoying every minute of it!!!
